Joel Gutowsky - Director of Student Life
Joel Gutowsky is honored to be married to his wife, Kimberly, and a daddy to their daughters, Anna, Maggie, and Hazel. He might be the biggest Astros fan you will ever meet, and thoroughly enjoys all Houston sports. He enjoys running, gardening and being with family.
Joel began teaching photography at Logos Prep in 2015 and was later named Director of Student Life. Though his title focuses him on the secondary (7-12) students, his job reaches into the lives of future secondary students on the primary and elementary campuses.
He graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christianity and communications and served as a youth pastor for over 10 years before joining the team at Logos Prep.
His heart lies with students. The culture they are growing up in is screaming for importance, direction, and meaning. All of that is found in Jesus, and it is his joy to point them to Him.
