Jason Henderson - Secondary Principal

Dr. Jason Henderson and his wife, Dr. Abby Henderson, have lived in the Houston area since 2009 and have been in Meadows Place since 2013. They have three children, Declan, Riley, and Connor. They enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with their families. Jason also enjoys cooking and baking.

Since 2013, he served as the 8th grade science teacher and in January 2015  assumed the role of assistant principal in addition to his teaching duties. As a a jack-of-all-trades, he handled everything from facilities to carpool to academic advising. In 2017, he was named secondary principal. His favorite perk of being an administrator is getting an opportunity to minister directly to all grades, and speak into students’ lives.

Jason received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Abilene Christian University, where he met his wife as a biology major. After graduation, he took a significant detour on his career path and pursued a Master of Arts degree in Christian ministry. This led him to youth ministry in Conroe, teaching Bible in Houston, and ultimately full circle, using his science degree to teach at Logos Prep. While at Logos Prep, Jason pursued and completed a Doctor of Ministry from ACU, matriculating in 2023. He has also, at various points in his life, worked as a medical records clerk, a mountain guide, a bakery manager, and as an assistant to a caterer. Other than being in the mountains, this is the most fun he’s ever had at a job.
