Makarios Partnership
Makarios International is an organization that strives to end poverty in the Dominican Republic through Christ-centered education, community programs, and relationships that empower. Logos Prep has a strong partnership with Makarios. Our teachers help encourage and train their teachers, our juniors and seniors travel to the DR each May to serve, and our primary, elementary and secondary students help sponsor classes, and support students at the Makarios school.
We are also excited about our new Makarios store at Logos Prep. This store sells shirts, bracelets, rings, purses, bags, coffee, coffee mugs, etc. made in the Dominican Republic. All proceeds support Makarios.
We are deeply involved in this partnership because we know we are helping erase generational poverty in the Dominican Republic, in Jesus’ name.
