Logos Prep Mission Statement: “We partner with, strengthen, and equip Christian families through quality education using Biblical values for the glory of God.”

Here at Logos Prep, we have a special partnership. The role of the school is to offer a quality education using Biblical values for the glory of God. Ephesians 4:11-16 guides our understanding of the role of the school in a student’s life.

Verse 11: “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers…”

Logos Prep teachers know that each individual is created by God in His image and with strengths and talents. As a school, we work to enhance an individual's talents and strengths.

Verse 12-13: ”...  to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,  until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ...”

We want students to be equipped to use those strengths. The school also acts as a unified community of Christ that strives to integrate the knowledge of Christ and a biblical worldview in all subject areas.

Verse 14:  “... so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.”

We want children to grow in the K-12 program both socially and academically. By providing an educational environment that nurtures critical thinking and problem solving, we prepare them to be courageous influencers in our culture.

Verse 15 ”... Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ...”

When a  graduate leaves Logos Prep, we want students to be effective communicators. Our role as a school in a student’s life is to create a space that supports growing up in every way knowing Christ, but also to go out and be able to articulate truth.

Verse 16 ”... from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

The role of our school is to equip families and students for the glory of God. It is a privilege to partner with families to raise up a generation to know God and to see them become fully equipped to pursue the good plans the Lord has for them.
