Margaret Watson - Director of Admissions
Margaret Watson loves the Lord with all her heart and came to know Him when she was 22 years old. She is a member of Lakewood Church, where she and her husband serve in their Sunday School class and lead a Life Group. She is married to Ty Selcer and they have two children, Adam, and Adria. Adam is a paralegal in Houston, and Adria is attending the University of Houston, Honors College. Adria was homeschooled through 4th grade, before she began at Logos Prep in 2006. This was the first year that Logos Prep opened, and she graduated in 2015. They really enjoy this model, and it has worked very well for their family. Watson was born and raised in Houston, attended Westbury High School and Sam Houston State University. She has lived in the Sugar Land area for about 30 years and has watched it grow into the beautiful city that she loves. She began working for Logos Prep the year it opened as the part-time registrar and was one of four administrative employees at that time. As the school grew, she assumed the role of Academic Advisor and was later promoted to Director of Admissions.
She has attended several of the annual NAUMS conferences, College Board workshops, Renweb trainings, webinars, and counselor updates. She coached volleyball, subbed classes, served on committees, helped with cheerleading, and has been a part of many other volunteer opportunities over the past 10 years.
One of her greatest joys is watching a student receive an acceptance letter to college and get in to the college of their dreams knowing that their hard work and perseverance has paid off. She is thankful to God every day that she gets to work at a Christian school.
